The TASMAN REVIVAL DVD has crossed the finish line and is now available for scrutineering!
The Historic Sports & Racing Car Association of NSW held the inaugural Tasman Revival meeting at Eastern Creek in December, 2006. The event was a milestone in the history of Australian and New Zealand motor sport, and brought back memories of the 'Golden Age' of motor racing ... the swinging 1960s!
Imaginatively filmed and edited by Nigel Foote, the DVD is an atmospheric montage of legendary cars, fabulous sounds and champion drivers. The relaxed pace, music and commentary-free scenes add a sense of realism and poignancy to the film ... a unique addition to any motor racing enthusiast's collection!
This is the only film of the event, and contains the promotional television footage screened on Sydney's Channel 7 and Channel 10.
The DVD also includes a large slide show of Nigel's motor racing photography, (previously unpublished except for a few shots printed in Racing Car News), plus a moving tribute to Peter Brock.
